What do you like about your job?
There are so many things. I like that every day is different. I like coming in to the News 8 team every day and I get to talk to so many different people and tell their story.
Pizza. Sausage, pepperoni or everything on it?
Everything on it. The more the merrier.
What sports team are you a big fan of?
I love the Minnesota Wild! There is nothing more exciting than hockey and it is the last true sport played by athletes who love the game. It doesn't have all the scandals and steroids.
I really like singing. I have no shame singing and dancing in my car at the stoplight. I’m a big fan of Michael Buble. The man just has a great voice. I like however any type of music I can sing along with.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
It would definitely begin by sleeping in followed by any activity with family, friends, and lots and lots of food.
Probably sushi. If I had it more often I might not say that, but I always leave a sushi restaurant feeling disappointed I didn’t eat more sushi.
I am proud to be from Minnesota. I was raised in the Twin Cities am the oldest of 5 kids. I have two brothers and two sisters. My parents are my biggest supporters and two of my best friends. I also have a large extended family that I am very close with and fortunate that most still live close.
What are you bad at and wish you could do better?
Sports. I really enjoy all sports but I am not the most athletic person out there. Oh, and dancing. Terrible dancer, but that doesn’t stop me from cuttin' a rug.
