I in La Crosse with my wife, Amanda, and our two dogs, Molly and Libby.
I enjoy a wide variety of music; my playlist includes everything from bluegrass to rock, but my favorites are Elvis, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Buddy Holly.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
I'm likely out fly fishing, hunting, or taking pictures. If the weather is poor, then I'm probably inside disassembling and cleaning another old camera he bought at a garage sale so I can run some film through it.
Favorite sports team?
I love the Packers and the Brewers.
This one is a tie. I like bacon and peanut butter very much, and nothing beats a peanut butter and bacon sandwich. Seriously.
Do you have a personal motto or quote that inspires you?
This isn't really a motto or quote, but I believe every person should have at least one good belly laugh each day.
If you could interview one person, living or deceased, who would that be?
I would love to interview Jim Marshall. He has taken some of the most iconic pictures in music history. Sadly, he passed away in March 2010.
What do you like about your job?
I would say the best part of my job is meeting many friendly people from around the Coulee Region. Every day I get to meet people who are passionate about what they do. It's great to feed off their excitement and positive energy.
