My best day at News 8 was the day?
I wasn't technically "at News 8" but I was working so I think this answer qualifies. Covering Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium will be a day I will never forget - everything from experiencing the game, to getting in some one-on-one questions with Clay Matthews following the Packers win, and reporting live on the field after the game.
Do you have a personal motto or quote that inspires you?
Work hard and good things will happen.
Favorite way to spend the day off?
Doing nothing and hanging around at home with my family.
What sports teams are you a big fan of?
You can consider me a "homer." I'm a fan of any team from Wisconsin, but tops on the list are the Green Bay Packers.
What are you bad at and wish you could do better?
Playing sports. But being a huge fan and knowing I couldn't play sports, I decided to cover and report on sports instead.
What do you like about your job?
I get to do something I love and have a passion for. There's also never a boring moment and you just never know what may be in store on any given day.
Pizza. Sausage, pepperoni or everything on it?
Everything on it.
Family?
My wife Mary and I had our first child in October of 2011 - her name is Avery. And then there is Napa our Golden Retriever who may just be the most spoiled dog in the world.
