mboehm@wkbt.comMartha is originally from Brown Deer, Wisconsin. She earned her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) in 2007, and then got her M.A. in Media Studies from UWM in 2009.
Martha began her broadcast journalism career in La Crosse as a bureau reporter/videographer in the fall of 2009. In October 2011, Martha became the 5 p.m. news producer for a TV station in Madison. She joined News 8 as the Internet Content Coordinator in October 2012 and is happy to be back in the Coulee Region.

What sports team are you a big fan of?
The Green Bay Packers. I’m a stockholder!
Favorite food?
My homemade egg rolls, my husband’s baked spaghetti and my mom’s stuffed shells.
What do you like about your job?
I love being able to tell stories. Whether they’re told on-air or online, a well-told story is a beautiful thing!
Favorite way to spend a day off?
On my days off, I like to play sports, watch movies and travel to new places.
Do you have a hobby or collect anything special to you?
I collect magnets to cities I’ve been fortunate enough to explore. Some of my traveling abroad highlights include a trip to London, Paris and Rome. I’ve also had the opportunity to travel to Australia and New Zealand.
Family?
Brandon and I have been married since May 2012.
