Fourth tornado confirmed from Wednesday storm system

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) - The National Weather Service confirmed storms that swept through southeastern Minnesota, western Wisconsin and Iowa on Wednesday included four weak tornadoes.

The weather service office in La Crosse said two EF0 tornadoes with winds of 65 mph touched down in Wabasha County, Minnesota.

Another EF0 tornado hit Elgin just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, causing tree and roof damage.

In Trempealeau County an EF1 tornado with winds of 95 mph damaged trees and farm buildings just before 5:30 p.m. in the Town of Gale.

In Winneshiek County, Iowa around 6:50 p.m., an EF0 tornado with winds of 70 mph damaged trees between Decorah, Ridgeway, and Bluffton.
