...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CST this
- freezing drizzle and snow is developing and will end by early
afternoon with the heaviest snowfall rates occurring this
- Winds will increase this afternoon and gust into the 30 to 40
mph range. This will cause some areas of blowing and drifting
snow...especially on ridge tops and in open areas.
- Total snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are
expected. A glaze of ice is possible from the freezing drizzle.
- Slippery Road conditions are possible during the morning
commute. In addition...areas of poor visibility are expected
A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of snow will cause
primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads
and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving..
