thunderstorm 3 miles northeast of Barron...or 17 miles east of Turtle
Lake. This storm was moving northeast at 25 mph.
Winds up to 30 mph and heavy downpours are expected with this storm.

Other strong storms with torrential rain were developing across west
central Wisconsin...from near Durand...Baldwin and Spring Valley.
Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches an hour are possible from the
thunderstorms. This may result in brief runoff problems and ponding
of water on area roadways.
The thunderstorms are expected to continue developing across the
area through 6 PM....and will affect the Menomonie...
