...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am CST
- snow accumulations of 1 to 2...locally up to 3 inches...are
expected overnight. The snow will start to decrease between 2
and 4 am.
- Northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph and gusty early Wednesday
morning producing some blowing and drifting snow.
- Wind chills Wednesday morning in the -15 to -25 range...coldest
over the higher terrain areas of northeast Iowa.
- The snow...blowing and drifting snow will impact travel
tonight into Wednesday morning. The wind chills could result
in frost bite of exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Strong winds and cold temperatures will generate
