The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Wind Chill
Advisory...which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 am CST
Thursday. The Winter Weather Advisory has been cancelled.
- Plan on wind chills to drop to 15 to 25 below zero tonight.
Wind chills will begin to improve late tonight.
- Frost bite can occur in as little as 30 minutes if exposed
skin is not protected.
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
