"Welcome back... a cool front moving through the area
brought a mix of clouds and sun to the area. What's
more important are the temperatures behind this front.
Take a look at readings across the Upper Midwest behind
the front. They are in the middle 40s to lower 50s.
That air mass will slide into the region tonight,
thenhang around fro a couple of days.
Tempratures closer to home range from the upper 50s
in the north to the upper 60s in the south.
Here is today's almanac.
Look for lows tonight in the middle and upper 30s
to the lower 40s.
They won't warm much tomorrow... ranging from the
upper 40s to lower 50s. This wil be quite the change
from what we've seen over the past few days.
As we put the maps into motion, look for high pressure
to slide across the region. It will bring sunshine,
but afternoon highs will struggle to make it into
the lower 50s tomorrow. With clear skies and light
winds Thursday night, many areas could see some frost.
Look for another sunny, but cool day with highd again
in the lower to middle 50s. We'll see things warm
a bit in time for the weekend.
For tonight, look for lingering clouds early on. We
should see some clearing late. Overnight lows will
drop into the lower 40s here in La Crosse, but in
the 30s elsewhere.
Look for a mostly sunny sky tomorrow. It wil be chilly...
with highs only in the lower 50s.
The clear sky will continue into tomorrow night. We'll
have to keep an eye out for more frost as lows drop
into the lower to middle 30s.
Looking ahead... look for a pleasant weekend, with
highs in the lower 60s. The dry weather hangs on through
Monday before a pattern change brings a chance of
showers and t-storms through much of the rest of next
