Good Wednesday to you! Wow has it been a different
day from yesterday.
and it all started with some rain last night through
early this afternoon.
It was light rain though.
The rain has now pushed to our east and we'll be dry
for the rest of the night.
dry, but cold.
especially as skies start to clear.
Believe it or not, we had a high in the 60s today.
but that was recorded just after midnight.
Temperatures have essentially been falling through
We started in the 50s this morning and have been falling
into the 40s this afternoon.
Temperatures are in the 40s this evening.
and these tempeartures are anywhere from 25-30 degrees
colder than yesterday at this time.
And temps will just keep falling as skies clear and
winds lighten up.
This is why we have a Freeze Warning in effect for
the entire News 8 Viewing Area from late tonight through
Temperatures will fall into the 20s and 30s tonight
and we'll see widespread frost.
this will likely be the end of the growing season.
We have very quiet, but cool weather on the way as
we head into tomorrow.
High pressure will build in so we'll see sun.
but highs will only be in the 50s.
This area of high pressure will push a little to our
east on Friday helping winds to shift out of the south
and warm us up closer to average.
Clearing skies tonight, widespread frost and even
some patchy fog possible tonight.
Lows in the low 30s.
Mostly sunny, but cool Thursday.
Highs near 57.
Mostly clear Thursday night with patchy frost possible
north and east of la Crosse.
Lows in the upper 30s.
Sunny and seasonable Friday.
Clouds will increase Saturday
with showers and thunderstorms
becoming likely by the evening and night.
They'll move out by Sunday morning.
and Sunday looks to be the pick day of the weekend.
