OPEN ON MAPS
after a devastating night of heavy rain and flooding,
we managed to squeak in a breif break this afternoon.
We still have a a stalled bounbary over the area and
that boundary could produce another round of showrs
and t-storms across mainly southern parts of the area
confidence is not as high as it has been in the past
few nights, so we'll continue to watch trends and
tweak the forecast.
The radar is fairly quiet at this hour.
But because the threat is stil there, the flash flood
watch will continue through tomorrow afternoon.
here is a look at the counties under flood warnings
at this time.
Tempratures are in the middle and upper 70s at this
Here is today's almanac
As we put the maps into motion, look for another round
of showers and t-storms to move across mainly southern
parts of the area late tonight into tomorrow morning.
The good news is we should finally see the heavy rain
threat end tomorrow afternon, with a period of dry
weather settling for Saturday before our next round
of rain arrives late Saturday night into Sunday.
Here is today's allergy report.
For tonight, look for another chance of showers and
t-storms, especially south and especially late.
We'll continue with a chance of showers and t-storms
mainly through the first half of tomorrow.
Looking ahead, we'll get a brief break Saturday, but
as cold front will bring another shot at rain Saturday
night into Sunday.
After that, look for slight chance of rain through
the first half of the week, with dry weather taking
over for the last half.
Temperatuers will cool into the middle and upper 60s
next week then warm toward the end of the week.
