well another strong storm system is moving across
And just like to the last one, we are on the warm
air side, so we get the mild air and msinly rain.
Now, the upper support for this system wil hang around
for the next several days.
This means as chunck s of energy rotate around it,
they will bring the chance of a bit of rain and snow.
The good news is we should see a break tomorrow before
the next chunk of energy rotates around this system.
At any rate, the radar continues to scattered showers
mainly east of the Mississippi River.
This is the area most likely to see the most rain
However, we have a line of showers with imbedded thunder
working across southeast Minnesota.
They will advance though the area this evening.
Rain should greatly diminish after about midnight
Temperatures are very mild for this time of year,
ranging from the middle 40s to near 50 degrees.
SE winds at 10-20 mph will add a bit of a bite to
the rain tonight.
Here is today's almanac.
Look for a cooler day tomorrow as temperatures slip
back into the lower to middle 40s.
This is a cooling trend that will continue through
As we put the maps into motion, look for that upper
level low to slowly spin over the region.
Another quick moving low will pass by to our south
and won't have much of an impact on our weather.
In fact, we should see a mix of clodus and sun tomorrow.
By Wednesday, here comes that other chunk energy rotating
around the low.
This is what will bring a chance at rai and snow Wednesday
Our forcastr for tonight calls for scattered showers
Thre coul even be a few rumbles of thunder.
look for a low in the middle and upper 30.
For tomorrow, look for a partly suny day, with highs
in the middle 40s.
we'll see another chance of ran and snow showers Wednesday
Afdter that, expect quite a bit of cloud cover with
a slight chance of rain and snow returning next sunday
and continuing into nextTuesday morning.
Notice temperatures slowly cooling back into the 30s
by week's end.
By the way.
we'll have to watch that system next weekend into
early next week.
One of the models is trying to produce accumulating
snow, while the other has us high and dry.
We'll take a middle of the road approach for now and
keep an eye on things.
