Tri-state Ambulance crews started preparing for Thursday’s snow storm on Tuesday, making sure all of their vehicles were ready to handle the weather and that the supplies were fully stocked.
Even though the number of crashes have been fewer than expected Thursday, they say it's been steady. And with the more than usual calls, the lead medic tells us it's all about being efficient.
"What we want to do is try to minimize their scene time as much as possible, and anything I can do to help them with that is what I'll shoot for." Mike Peterson, Tri-State Ambulance’s lead medic.
Tri-State tells us they haven't had any serious injuries in any of the crashes they've responded to around the area Thursday.
