Main Weather: You can thank the clouds for a cooler
than average Tuesday.
Highs today topped out in the mid to upper 70s in
but some of our southern and western communities only
reached the low 70s for highs.
Although it was gloomy, it did remain dry today so
it gave us time to dry out from yesterday's torrential
Temperatures this evening are quite comfortable, but
dew points are in the Sticky category.
They aren't too overpowering, but you can definitely
feel the moisture in the air.
Clouds are still with us this evening and will continue
to be overnight.
A weak area of high pressure sits to our northeast.
There isn't enough dry air associated with it to break
up the clouds too much, but at least we are staying
And that looks to be the story for the next few days.
There will be a slight chance of an afternoon storm
tomorrow for those south and west of La Crosse, but
most of the area will remain dry.
