Playing in the first Super Bowl after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the New England Patriots defeated the St. Louis Rams to win their first Super Bowl on Feb. 3, 2002. Brady, who set the Patriots up for the game-winning field goal, was named the MVP of Super Bowl XXXVI.
