While the child stars whose careers fade seem to get most of the press, plenty of young actors have managed to stay successful into adulthood, including Jason Bateman, the star of this week's "Identity Thief."

Christina Ricci began acting in commercials at age 6 and made her film debut at the age of 10 alongside Cher, Bob Hoskins and Winona Ryder in 1990's "Mermaids."
