Russell Wilson: "Life hasn't changed"

Former Badgers quarterback returns to Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) - Russell Wilson was back in Madison Saturday. The Seahawks quarerback held a camp to teach kids football basics.

A few local connections were there to help, including UW-La Crosse football coach Joel Dettwiler and Onalaska coach Tom Yashinsky.

Wilson led Seattle to the Super Bowl, but if you think life has changed for him since leading Wisconsin to the Big Ten Championship three years ago, think again.

"Life hasn't changed for me that much. I guess that the biggest thing is just staying true to the work ethic, staying true to the idea of no time to sleep. Every day is something where I can get better as a champion," he said.

"I guess maybe some more people notice me here and there but at the end of the day, I'm a very low-key person."
