Viterbo played five innings before the rain came Sunday, beating Mt. Mercy 6-0. Fortunately, the V-Hawks played three games against Mt. Mercy Saturday. Viterbo took three of the four games.

The wins move Viterbo (28-17, 15-7) into a tie atop the MCC standings with St. Ambrose. There are two games left in the season.

The V-Hawks will play for their first-ever regular season MCC championship when they host AIB College Tuesday at 2 p.m.
