Viroqua junior Mitch Stalsberg will play at Winona State next year, according to a WSU press release.

Stalsberg, the reigning Coulee Conference Player of the Year, earned all-conference honors in each of his first three years of varsity baseball. He is also a three-year letterwinner in hockey, leading Viroqua in scoring as a junior.

“Mitch has potential as a left-handed pitcher, and we need another strong arm to add to our staff," WSU head coach Kyle Poock said.

Winona State posted a 23-17 overall record in 2013, the program’s 31st consecutive winning season.
