LA CROSSE, WI -

The schedule doesn't get any easier for UW-La Crosse.

The Eagles fell 35-24 to Dubuque in the season opener and host North Central next week. UW-L upset the then-6th ranked Cardinals last year, but North Central is once again a top ten team. Then, it's a trip to Div. II Missouri S&T. After a bye week, WIAC play begins against powerhouse UW-Whitewater.

"There's not any slouches and North Central is going to be ready to go," UW-L Head Coach Joel Dettwiler said. "But I guess the thing I told our kids tonight is a lot of the guys that beat North Central last year are still in the room."

Kickoff next Saturday against North Central is at 1 p.m.
