SENECA, Wis. -

Seneca Head Coach Justin Goodrich tells News 8 the school is cancelling its football season. The Indians will field a Junior Varsity team instead.

"I'm taking it hard, but there's nothing I can do about it," Goodrich said.

The main reason: low numbers. Only 18 players showed up for a team meeting Monday night, and none of them were seniors.

Goodrich said he's unsure what will happen for the 2014 season.

"I'm just focused on our JV schedule," Goodrich said.
