MADISON, Wis. -

Joel Stave will start Saturday for Wisconsin, according to a report from BadgerNation.com.

Stave, a redshirt sophomore, started six games last season before breaking his collarbone against Michigan State. He threw for 1,104 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions.

Stave was listed as a co-starter with Curt Phillips in Monday's depth chart. Gary Andersen reiterated Monday that no public announcement would be made regarding who would start.
