The Green Bay Packers have released wide receiver Jeremy Ross.
Executive Vice President and General Manager of Football Operations Ted Thompson made the announcement Monday.
Ross muffed a kickoff in the first quarter on Sunday, which led to a Cincinnati Bengals touchdown.
Ross also fumbled a punt return last season against the 49ers in the playoffs. San Francisco recovered and scored three plays later.
Ross played in eight regular season games over the last two seasons for the Packers, averaging 17.9 yards on kickoff returns and 20.5 yards on six punts. Ross made one catch for eight yards.
