MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WKBT) -

Last October Coon Valley, Wisconsin native Scott Servais was named the 20th manager in Seattle Mariners history. Although the Mariners finished three-games back of a Wild Card playoff spot it was a successful season for the rookie manager as Seattle finished 86-76, well surpassing the team's win total from last year.

Servais sits down with News 8 sports director Gregg Wavrunek at Target Field during their recent series against the Minnesota Twins. Servais talks about his professional baseball career, his first year as a manager, and reflects back to his days living in Coon Valley and attending Westby High School.
