LA CROSSE, Wis. -

In front of a great crowd at Copeland Park, Matt Katz hit a walk-off RBI winner for La Crosse in the bottom of the 9th.

The Loggers' 6-5 win over Madison means the teams are tied in the South Division with one game left in the first half.

The Loggers trailed 2-0 in the game, but battled back. Tied at two in the second inning, Kevin Zak drove in two runs, and La Crosse took a 4-2 lead.

Madison responded with a 3-run third inning, but La Crosse's Johnny Bekakis tied the game with one swing of the bat in the 5th.

The game would remain tied at five into the 9th, thanks to an incredible diving catch by Madison center fielder Luke Meeteer in the eighth. The Loggers had the bases loaded with two outs.

Then, Matt Katz hit the walk-off winner in the 9th, setting up tomorrow's winner-take-all game.

First pitch between La Crosse and Madison Wednesday is 7 p.m. at Copeland Park.
