LA CROSSE, Wis. -

La Crosse scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat Green Bay, 3-2, at Copeland Park Sunday. Matt Risdon drove in the winning run.

"You just always want to be the guy up at the plate. I was lucky enough to be up," Risdon said.

La Crosse trailed 2-0 and stranded 16 runners on base before scoring three straight runs. The Loggers improve to 7-5 on the year.

"Just to see the guys out there, that's just a bonding moment," Risdon said. "Whether it's me hitting it or anyone else, it's all about the experience."
