The La Crosse Loggers will send four players to the 2013 Northwoods League All-Star game that will take place at Carson Park in Eau Claire on Tuesday, July 23. Rosters for both the South and North Divisions were announced on Friday.

They are outfielder Johnny Bekakis, second baseman Kevin Zak, pitcher Collin Monsour, and pitcher Josh Frye.

Bekakis (Long Beach State) entered Friday night with 5 home runs on the season, tied for 8th among South Division players and his 31 RBI are the 5th most.

Zak's (Grand Valley State) batting average of .286 is 10th best in the division.

Frye (Long Beach State) currently leads the South Division with 47 strikeouts. His 4 wins are one shy of the division lead.

Monsour (California) carries a 3-2 record with a 3.02 ERA. The Loggers went on to win the first four games he started this season.

The All-Star game is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. on July 23. Prior to the game will be the annual Home Run Derby beginning at 6:00 p.m.
