HOLMEN, WI - Holmen native Jeren Kendall signed his first MLB contract on Friday.
Kendall and the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a deal worth $2.9 million. The Dodgers selected the Holmen native with the 23rd overall pick in last months MLB draft.
Kendall helped Holmen to 3 straight MVC championships and was the Wisconsin Player of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
During his junior campaign at Vanderbilt, Kendall hit .307 from the plate, with 15 home runs and 20 stolen bases.
