INDEPENDENCE, Wis. -

Not many teams are fortunate enough to have a returning starting quarterback, never mind one that's preparing to start his third season.

That's what Independence/Gilmanton has in senior Cameron Zeller.

"I think not just the physical thing of being older, being able to throw far, but I think being more comfortable at quarterback and being able to analyze a lot more helps," Zeller said.

After going a combined 2-11 in conference play in his first two seasons, he led the Indees to the playoffs last year (4-3).
