It was a great year, I feel like our kids played well.
I think the most important thing is in the end you
want to see growth and I feel like the last couple
weeks, two to three weeks of the season I feel like
our kids grew together as a team.

The Caledonia boys basketball program looks to send
it's first team to state...since winning it all back
Warriors taking on a Byron team that went to state
last season ....in the one-A-A section championship

Onalaska boys hockey coach Tim Ebner believes it will
be his team's speed that will be the difference maker
if they are to beat Kettle Moraine co-op in the WIAA
state quarterfinal game.

night-cap of day one of the state tourney.
Not even a minute into the game...Lasers keep the

This game in the second intermission....started a
big late due to the prior game going to overtime.
Onalaska leads 3-2.
The Viroqua co-op gymnastics program will be competing
at state for the fourth time in six years tomorrow
at Wisconsin Rapids.
Their highest state finish in that stretch was 6th.
Looking at team scores posted at sectionals....Viroqua
had the fifth highest total of those competing at
state...with a 134.225.
Even though they missed out qualifying for state last
season - this team carries a lot of experience competing
at the biggest meet of the year.
Taking the year off and then going back to state is
a great feeling because it means our team is even
It's pretty exciting.
Since it's my first year as a team to make it to state
since last year I went as an individual, it's going
to be a lot of fun.
Jozie McClellend and Michaela Bach also both qualified
for state individually in the all-around...with another
on the team just missing out.
It's this team's depth that stands out...especially
considering the team had to also fill in for an injury
that happened right before conference.
For the rest of those team members to step in and
take her place as an all-around was just exciting
because now they've scored higher than what they were
And it's just great to see that, they were so solid
as a team they were able to step in and take over.
