We had a great chance and we knew that our opponent...we
knew they were going to be tough.
They're always sneaky and we only beat them by four
the second time so knew it was going to be tough and
they were going to come and fight.
But we were all ready, there was no messing around.

Holmen senior Dillon Martinez remembers well.
While attending school at Emerson Elementary....he'd
always look out back at Veteran's Memorial Stadium
and think about the day he would get a chance to compete
at the state track and field meet.
Tomorrow will mark the third straight year Martinez
will run in front of the many-thousand fans.
This season he'll compete in a few events...including
the four-by-100 relay for the third straight year.
That first time at state will be an experience he'll
