Diamondbacks 3, Cubs 2

PHOENIX -- David Peralta had two hits, drove in two runs and scored on a bizarre play in the sixth inning as Arizona finished a sweep of Chicago.

Ender Inciarte and Peralta led off the sixth with back-to-back doubles off Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta (5-2) to tie the game at 1 before Peralta took third base on a groundout.

After Miguel Montero walked, Aaron Hill hit a foul popup that Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo caught before falling head-first into a camera well on the home plate side of the Cubs' dugout. Since Rizzo took the ball out of play, the runners were awarded one base, enabling Peralta to score for a 2-1 lead.
