MINNEAPOLIS, Min. -

Five players scoring in double figures wasn't enough to push Caledonia into the state championship game.

Annandale shot 52-percent from the field and handed the Warriors an 81-76 loss in the MSHSL Class AA state semifinal game.

The Warriors trailed by 15 points with ten-minutes remaining. A 7-0 run by Caledonia pulled them within four with the score 71-67. They'd eventually cut the deficit to three-points in the final minutes, but that is as close as they'd get.

Kyle Sorenson led Caledonia with 24 points. Owen King (14), West Spier (12), Colton Lampert (12), and Austin Bauer (10) were the other Warriors scoring in double figures.

Caledonia will play in the third place game Saturday at noon at Concordia University.
