MADISON, WI -

Practice is underway for the Badgers men's basketball team, and freshman guard Bronson Koenig said his main goal for this season is cracking Bo Ryan's rotation.

But what about his goals for all four years in Madison?

"Make it far into the tournament, obviously winning a national championship is always the goal," the Aquinas grad said. "I think we can definitely do it in a couple years or whatever. I think we have a really strong freshman class, one of the more athletic classes that Wisconsin's had."

Koenig is no stranger to the Kohl Center. He won two WIAA state titles on the same floor he'll play on when Wisconsin hosts Florida in their home opener, November 12th.

"Definitely it will be nerve-wracking and everything," he said. "But it will be pretty cool, first time. I'll be pretty nervous."
