LA CROSSE, Wis. -

What a day for the Ghelfi family.

They watched Mitch Ghelfi, a freshman at UW-Milwaukee, pitch for Green Bay at Copeland Park. Just hours earlier, their middle son, Drew, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 25th round.

"I was busy in the kitchen and as soon as I heard his name, I just jumped up and screamed," said Tina Ghelfi, Drew's mom.

Drew pitched only 11 innings this season for Minnesota, but he attended a pre-Draft workout last week in Milwaukee.

"I'm a huge Brewers fan, so either way I would have been happy," he said. "But since it was the Brewers, I'm pretty happy about that."

Drew will sign his contract Sunday and report to either Helena, Montana or Phoenix.

"I've been dreaming about that since I was a little kid."
