NAT pop - boat starting
Fishing is one of those unique sports where we practice
from dark to dark, we fish all day long and we're
competing against something else that has a brain.
Oh I just had a bite
Southern New Jersey there's not a whole lot of bass
fishing that's where I currently live and it's a small
town in South Jersey.
My college coach told me I had to make a decision
either bass fishing or continue playing tennis and
to me it was a no brainer.
Five of them in the tournament.
We were just talking about how tough it is and he
just choked it
When I came out here about a month and a half ago,
so I do feel a little bit better coming into this
event cause these guys are the best in the world.
They've been around for awhile you're competing against
guys like Eickenelly, Kevin Van Dam, Skeet Reece the
guys that have been doing this for a lot of years.
NAT pop - boat engine
From the hook set all the way until he's in the livewell
I mean your hearts pumping, your adrenalines going,
and you know if you catch that fish it's going to
move you up that leaderboard.
Little mini jaws
I knew the tail-end of this season if I was in contention,
I would have a good shot at qualifying for my first
classic and here we are I'm in 50th place in points
I need a good event here in the Mississippi River
to go to the AYO Championships.
The hardware, the trophy, all the stuff that comes
with being a Bassmaster's Classic champion is an absolute
life changing moment and I'll hopefully one day that
I can be considered a Bassmaster's Classic champion.
To see Adrian and the 106 other anglers in town.
head over to Veterans Freedom Park.
Competition runs tomorrow through Sunday.
Takeoff daily is a.m.
Weigh-in will take place in the afternoon.
A total purse of 638-thousand dollars.
