Athletes all across the state of Wisconsin look to earn a trip to next week's state track and field championships competing at sectionals on Thursday. News 8 has highlights from the Division 1 meet in Middleton and the Division 3 meet hosted by Bangor.
Softball playoffs also get underway in Divisions 2, 3, and 4. Local teams play for a spot in Tuesday's regional championship games.
