Golden State moved 1 1/2 games up on the Rockets for the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference.James Harden recorded 21 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists and Jeremy Lin scored 21 as Houston fell to 5-3 in March.The Warriors put on a stunning defensive display in the first quarter, holding the Rockets without a field goal over the final 7:32 to take an 18-10 lead after the period. Greg Smith ended Houston's field-goal drought on the opening possession of the second quarter, but the Rockets ended up shooting 19.6 percent in the first half.Houston did not make a field goal in the final four minutes of the second quarter, and Golden State took advantage with an 18-4 burst that made it a 54-31 lead at the break.The Rockets nearly matched their first-half point total in the third quarter, beginning the period with a 26-8 burst that chopped the deficit to 62-57.
