The Winona State men's basketball team has been adjusting
to a change on their sideline.
Warriors alum and Holmen grad Zack Malvik has taken
over head coaching duties.
That's because head coach Todd Eisner is recovering
from a health issue that recently required outpatient
as W-S-U is off to a two-and-oh start.
It's been very difficult for me, but right now it's
certainly been a chalenge for all of us.
I can't be as involved as I'd like to be.
I can be at practice right now, I'm not allowed to
be really active at practice, I'm not allowed to yell
which good and bad...is usually one of my trademarks.
So it's been an adjustment for everybody.
Zack has been tremendous.
I've been very fortunate to have him on my staff.
He's got a great passion for Winona State basketball,
he wants to get our program back to the level that
it was back when he was playing.
