LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Loggers celebrated a major milestone Saturday night, as they welcomed their one millionth fan in franchise history.

As the millionth fan to cross the turnstiles at Copeland Park for a Loggers game, Hokah, Minn. native Sandy Culver receives a monetary prize, gas card, jersey, 2013 season tickets, free Loggers Dogs for next season, and an autographed team ball and bat, among other prizes.

"I am so shocked and surprised. It's just, wow," Culver said. "We came back because Sam, my kid, loved his first game so he wanted to come back for his second this summer."

For General Manager Chris Goodell, the milestone isn't as much about the Loggers as it is the community that supports it.

"[We] started this thing ten years ago and the millionth fan was not even a thought at that point or in the radar," he said. "It tells you how special our community is we're a part of here."

The Loggers will likely celebrate another milestone in less than a week. Manager Andy McKay is only six wins away from his 200th victory.
