LA CROSSE, Wis. - La Crosse came back to beat Green Bay 11-6 on Monday night. The win ensures the Loggers' trip to the postseason, as they clinch the First-Half South Division Championship.

The Loggers trailed by as much as five runs in the game, allowing Green Bay to score five in the top of the first inning. But Parker Schrage came in to pitch four innings of relief, allowing La Crosse to chip away at the Green Bay lead. The Loggers scored three in the bottom of the 8th and 9th innings to get the win.

"We knew we wanted to clinch at home," said Loggers outfielder Bobby Juan. "We knew we could score runs in bunches, so we didn't let that affect us."

This is the Loggers' first South Division title since 2009. They still have two games at Battle Creek before the first half officially comes to a close.

"It makes that trip to Battle Creek a whole lot better," Loggers Manager Andy McKay said.
