LA CROSSE, Wis. -

Longtime Logan High School Head Wrestling Coach Doug Leclair will be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame this summer.

Coach Leclair will be inducted, along with four other Wisconsin coaches for "lifetime achievements and contributions to the sport of wrestling."

Leclair found out about this nomination and acceptance in January during an All-City Duals at Logan High School.

"This is such a well-deserved honor for Doug," Logan Athletic Director Steve Hole said in a statement. "He has dedicated many years to Logan's wrestling program. It is his passion and commitment to the program that has allowed us to build and maintain such a strong program. I'm thankful for his efforts and the tremendous impact he has had on our student athletes."

The induction ceremony will be on August 4 at the River Inn Hotel and Banquet Facility in Boscobel. For more information, contact Kevin Anderson at keanders@lacrosseschools.org call (608) 317-6663.
