Jeremy Lin has been a boon to the New York Knicks on and off the court.

The skyrocketing popularity of the undrafted point guard from Harvard has led to record ratings for the past two telecasts on the MSG network.

More than 540,000 households tuned into the last two MSG telecasts -- both losses -- against New Jersey on Monday night and New Orleans on Friday.

The 7.3 ratings eclipsed the 6.78 mark in 1995, when Michael Jordan poured in 55 points in his first game at Madison Square Garden since coming out of retirement.

The Knicks are 7-2 since Lins took over as starting point guard. He has scored at least 20 points in nine of the last 10 games.
