LA CROSSE, Wis. -

Monday was opening day for Major League Baseball. Both the Milwaukee Brewers and Minnesota Twins opened their seasons at home.

Locally, there's still 58 days before the La Crosse Loggers take to the Lumberyard, but tickets for Loggers games did go on sale Monday.

There are 35 home games with two live national entertainment acts and a fireworks show planned for this season.

The Loggers general manager says it's a busy time. "These two months with our single game tickets on sale today. And putting finishing touches on the off season, charting our players coming in. Very soon once this warms up will get to start moving into this ballpark and getting this place all spit shinned up and ready to go for another great season. So it's a very busy time, but a very good busy time," said Chris Goodell.
