The La Crosse pipeline to the national powerhouse
Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team will continue
for another four years.
Today Central senior Kobe King signs his National
Letter of Intent over at Central High School.
King one of the three-member class of 2017 that has
been graded as one of the best in program history.
He averaged 26-points and ten-rebounds per game as
a junior with the Red Raiders.
Badgers head coach Greg Gard calls King a player who
can score at all three levels.

It's a great compliment.
I know I've got a lot of work to do and I can always
improve on things.
But when your coach has confidence in you that's 75-percent
of the battle.
It was a really big thing to hear from him.
They're saying we're one of the best classes they've
had in a couple of decades there.
So obviously we've got to live up to that hype but
it's a big label to have and I'm very excited.
