Jordan Taylor to play in Italy
Former Badger gets contract with Virtus Roma
Former Wisconsin Badger basketball star Jordan Taylor will begin his professional career in Italy.
Taylor signed a contract with Virtus Roma -- an Italian team in the Euroleague that has featured players like George Gervin, Danny Ferry and current Milwaukee Buck Brandon Jennings.
Jennings played for Virtus Roma right out of high school before he was drafted by the Bucks.
Taylor played for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in July.
He averaged 14.8 points and 4.1 assists per game in his senior season at Wisconsin as he led the Badgers to the NCAA East Region semifinals before being eliminated by Syracuse.
