Johnson to miss Masters with back injury

Dustin Johnson will miss the Masters beginning Thursday because of a back injury.

The American is a five-time PGA Tour winner and is currently ranked No. 12 in the world. He hasn't finished better than a tie for 30th in three previous trips to Augusta National.

Johnson's withdrawal means the field at the Masters is down to 96 golfers.
