LA CROSSE, Wis. - Todd Faircloth weighed in with 14 lbs., 9 oz. to win the Bassmaster Elite Series' Mississippi River Rumble. This is his first Elite Series win since 2008.
Faircloth was the last angler to weigh-in and needed 13 lbs., 6 oz. to beat Cliff Pace, who was temporarily in first with 61 lbs. Faircloth's day-four bag weighed 14 lbs., 6 oz., forcing Pace to finish second. Terry Butcher finished third (60 lbs., 11 oz.), Jamie Horton finished fourth (59 lbs., 11 oz.) and Aaron Martens, who entered the day in second, finished fifth (58 lbs., 1 oz.).
"It's pretty special," Faircloth said. "You know, it's been a few years since I won one, and my family was here, so that made it extra special."
