Angel Cabrera and Carl Pettersson were atop the leaderboard after Thursday's rain-suspended first round of the Houston Open.
Cabrera and Pettersson each shot a 7-under-par 65 and were among only 51 players to finish their rounds before thunderstorms caused play to be suspended at Humble, Texas.
First-round play will resume Friday morning at 8:30 ET.
Jeff Maggert and Ricky Barnes were among the early finishers and were one shot behind the clubhouse leaders with a 66.
Keegan Bradley was among those at 67 and Lee Westwood and Steve Stricker opened with a 68.
Defending champion Phil Mickelson was 1-under through three holes, as was Fred Couples.
